September 2026 ADC Written Exam results: what the numbers show

The numbers

What the pass rate does not mean

A {{PASS_RATE}}% pass rate is not a {{PASS_RATE}}% chance. The ADC written examination is competency-based, not curved — every candidate is assessed against a fixed standard rather than against each other. If 3,000 people sit and 400 meet the standard, 400 pass. The percentage moves with the size and preparedness of the candidate pool; the standard does not move with it.

What it means if you are sitting next

The failure patterns we documented in our analysis of the 2024–25 results have not changed: applying home-country protocols instead of Australian guidelines, misreading five-question vignettes, and insufficient full-length timed practice. Candidates preparing for March 2027 should read the deadline timeline first — the initial assessment is the bottleneck, not the exam.
